User Registration

How to register?

Click on the 'Sign In' button at the top of the screen, then 'Register'. Fill in all required fields on the Registration page, set your password and accept our Terms and Conditions of Use. The last step to complete the process is to validate your account through a token sent to your email. You're all set! With the account verified, you will be able to create campaigns and make donations!

Do I have to register?

Yes. For security reasons, all donor participants and campaign creators must register and comply with the platform's operating rules..

Can I create multiple users?

Our platform allows the creation of only 1 (one) user per person. However, in the case of Institutions and Legal Entities, the same person can be used in multiple registrations.

Can I edit or update my information?

Sure! After logging in, click on 'My Profile' and then 'Edit Profile'. On this page you can edit all your information, add photos, change your password, and even link your social media accounts. To change the E-mail registered on the account, please contact our support team.

Can I delete my account?

Our platform allows users to delete their accounts quickly and effortlessly. When entering the 'My Profile' page click on 'Edit Profile'. At the bottom of the page you will find the option to close your account. Important: The user can only close their account if they do not have any campaign or donation pending on the platform.

Campaign Creation

How to create a campaign?

After creating an account and logging in, click on the 'Create Campaign' button to be directed to the Campaign Creation page. Fill in all the required fields, add an illustrative photo, and don't forget to leave a touching description about your cause! After finishing the creation, your campaign will be listed under 'Campaigns Created' on the 'My Profile' page.

What are goals?

Goals are the symbolic amount you are willing to raise. When creating the campaign, the user will have the option of setting a goal or leaving an open value. The user will be able to withdraw the values ​​regardless of whether the goal is reached or not.

Important: Although these are just symbolic values, setting realistic goals is important to boost your fundraising. Campaigns with clear goals give donors more confidence and tend to raise more.

Is there a fundraising limit?

No, you can choose any amount to fundraise! Remember: setting , você escolhe qualquer valor a ser arrecadado! Lembre-se: setting reasonable goals is important to provide security and transparency to your donors.

Can I raise more than the set goal? What if my goal is not reached?

Yes, you can raise beyond the pre-set goal. Your goal is just a symbolic estimate of how much you plan to raise, many successful campaigns end up raising more than planned. Likewise, if the goal is not reached, you can also withdraw the remaining balance normally.

Can I edit my campaign?

Yes, it is possible to edit your campaigns. You can edit all data, images, descriptions, goals and/or categories in your campaign. After logging in, click on the campaign you want to update and then on the 'Edit' button. After updating the campaign, don't forget to finish editing by clicking the yellow button.

Just created my campaign, when will it be active on the website? How can I send documents for verification?

After you finish creating your campaign, it will automatically receive Pending Status. This means that the campaign has been created and is waiting for MeuCofrinho's approval to be posted on the platform. So that we can activate your campaign, send us documents that illustrate the fundraising cause and that prove the veracity of the campaign.

For example: An NGO raising funds for abandoned animals must send photos of the kennel, receipts, files proving the existence of the NGO, or other such document.

On the 'My Profile' page you will find all Pending Campaigns. Just click on the red button, attach your documents with a description, and send everything through the platform.

Campaign analysis takes a maximum of 2 business days, but is usually done on the same day. You will receive an email notification once the campaign is approved.

How to finish a campaign?

After logging in and selecting your campaign, the user will find the 'End Campaign' button in the right corner of the screen. The user can end their campaign at any time, as long as the Available Balance has been fully withdrawn. Otherwise, the user will have to withdraw the Available Balance before closing the campaign.

Donations

How to make a donation?

After registering a user and being logged in to the platform, the participant must select the campaign and click the 'Donate' button. Choose the payment method and the amount to be donated, and make sure that your ID number filled matches the one registered in your account. After filling in all the mandatory fields, just complete the donation and receive a confirmation by email.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

Yes, the minimum donation amount is R$10,00 (Brazilian Reais). In case of payment questions, please contact our team.

How to make sure the donation was made?

After completing a donation, the contribution will appear on your donor portal. In addition, MeuCofrinho.com generates a receipt for each transaction carried out on the platform. If you are still not sure whether the donation has been properly processed, please contact our team.

How to request a Refund?

The refund can be made within 5 (five) business days after the donation is confirmed. To request a refund, enter your Profile and click on 'View Statement'. On the Statement page you will find all transactions made by your account, and you can click on the Refund button in the 'Actions' column.

Important: Administration and payment fees already processed will be deducted from the refund amount. This way, the donor should only receive a refund of the net value of the transaction.

Withdrawals

How to withdraw my available balance?

All withdrawals are made per campaign. After logging in, select the campaign you want to manage and click on 'Withdraw'. You will be directed to the Withdrawals page.

The Withdrawals page provides the values ​​of:

  • Total Fundraised: gross amount donated to the fundraiser
  • Total Already Withdrawn: gross amount of previous withdrawals
  • Available Balance: total amount available for withdrawal at the moment

From the Available Balance, the user will be able to determine the amount he wants to withdraw to his registered bank account.

I did not reach my goal. Can I still withdraw my money?

Yes, the goal is just a symbolic value. The a fractional withdrawal can be made, even if the goal has not been reached. The same applies to campaigns that exceed goals, in which the user will be able to withdraw normally.

Fees and Time Limits

What are the fees?

User registration and campaign creation are completely free. The user will only pay fees if they receive donations through our platform. In this case, the fees discounted from campaign creators are:

  • Platform Fee
  • Administrative Fee: 6% of donation amount
  • Fee charged by Payment Processor
  • Credit Card Fee: 3,36% of donation amount
  • Withdrawal Flat Fee: R$ 3,67 per Withdrawal
  • R$ 0,99 flat fee per donation made by credit card
  • PIX Fee: 1,19% of donation amount

What are the Availability and Operating Time Limits?

Withdrawal Availability on the Platform:

  • Credit Cards Donations: Up to 30 (thirty) business days
  • PIX Donations: Available Immediately
  • Funds Availability after Withdrawal request: Up to 03 (three) business days
  • Refund Availability on the Platform: Up to 05 (five) business days after donation was confirmed

Important: In case of suspicious and/or fraudulent donations, Meu Cofrinho may extend the deadlines until a further analysis of the transaction is completed, for security reasons.

After the campaign is finished, it can be listed on the platform for up to 180 days.
